华人牧师/Chinese Pastor

mmexport1568302035370Pastor (Wenbin) Freeman Li was born in China. He completed his degree of Baccalaureate of Arts Degree in Chinese Linguistics and Culture. From 1992 to 2004 he spent 12 years in marketing, especially in the international business area in China before he became a full-time pastor.
After almost 6 years of Bible study and praying, during June of 2004, Pastor Li was baptized by his missionary friend in China. After he moved to America, he studied at the University of Central Arkansas, the Baptist Missionary Association Theological Seminary. He graduated from Christian Witness Theological Seminary in San Jose, California on May 2011 with a degree on Master of Divinity.
During 2009 and 2012, he finished his seminary educational field work and vicarage at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Fremont. In February 2012, he completed the colloquy in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and in April 2012 he was called to be the associate pastor at other Church until Dec. 3, 2017.
Pastor Li also has a passion for evangelical ministry and has leadership in ministry. He joined the Friday Chinese campus ministry and started a small Chinese Bible study in the in 2006-2008. In 2008, he participated in a Chinese evangelical conference (held in San Francisco) where there were more than 300 Chinese pastors gathered, many from different places around the world. After he moved to California, he also joined Spring Camp Evangelical Ministry as a group leader from 2010 to 2012 and helped the ministry a lot in many aspects.

By the grace, mercy, and love of God, he now lives with his wife, Delia, and his daughter, Grace, in Santa Cruz, California and his son, Hunter is in college. Currently, Pastor Li and his family began the Santa Cruz Chinese Ministry. Currently, he is holding Mandarin Divine Services with English translation in Santa Cruz Messiah Lutheran Church. He and his wife are also the volunteers of International Students Inc. (ISI), Santa Cruz to help outreach the UCSC international students (mostly Chinese students and scholars from Mainland China).
